Session Overview: This session highlights two presentations. The first examines how First Nations in Northwestern Ontario mobilized sovereignty, cultural continuity, and collective leadership to mitigate the impacts of COVID-19 and inform more equitable, self-determined public health systems. The second explores the productivity impacts of return-to-work strategies for nurses with post COVID-19 condition, considering their limited work capacity, variability in recovery, and the associated administrative and workforce challenges.

Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the speakers following their presentations.
