BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES OF THE SYMPOSIUM

Building on the success of the inaugural Canadian Symposium on Long COVID hosted by the Fonds de recherche du Québec and the Long COVID Web in September 2023, Alberta is pleased to announce the 2024 Canadian Symposium on Long COVID. The symposium will bring together people with lived experience of Long COVID, policy makers, clinicians, trainees, researchers and others to discuss the latest innovations and scientific developments in Long COVID. Hosted by the University of Alberta, University of Calgary, Alberta Health Services, and Long COVID Web, this event is tentatively scheduled to take place in-person in Edmonton on October 3-5, 2024. It will be broadcast online for those who cannot attend in person.
