Opportunity Details

Are you passionate about patient-centered research and ensuring lived experience shapes the future of Long COVID treatment and care? Long COVID Web is currently seeking new members to join our Patient Advisory Council (PAC).

Who Should Apply

Individuals living with Long COVID
Caregivers or family members of people affected by Long COVID
Individuals with personal experience to serve as representatives
Individuals from diverse communities and underrepresented groups (e.g., members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, people living with low socioeconomic status, etc.) — are encouraged to apply
Those with a strong interest in improving health systems and patient experiences via research

*At this time, we are looking for PWLE (people with lived experience) who are not currently engaged in leadership roles in other patient-focused groups.

What’s Involved?

Attend regular biweekly meetings and contribute to Long COVID research and initiatives
Offer insight into patient and caregiver perspectives in Long COVID research
Help foster inclusive, respectful, and accessible engagement strategies

How to Apply

Please submit a Letter of Intent outlining the following:

Why you are interested in joining the PAC
What you hope to contribute
Any relevant lived experience or background

Submit your letter by July 31st, 2025, via our online submission form.

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed, and selected individuals may be invited for an interview.
Recommendations are welcome — if you know someone who would be a great fit, please encourage them to apply by submitting a Letter of Intent.

Key Dates:

Call Opens: June 18th, 2025
Deadline for Letter of Intent: July 31st, 2025, 11:59 PM PT.
Interviews: August 2025
New Member Start Date: Fall 2025 (tentative)
