Long COVID Web Patient Advisory Council Committee (LCW PAC)​

Opportunity Details​

Are you passionate about patient-centered research and ensuring lived experience shapes the future of Long COVID research, treatment, and care? Long COVID Web is currently seeking new members to join our Patient Advisory Council (PAC).

​

Who Should Apply

​

We welcome applications from individuals with lived or living experience of Long COVID, including:

  • Individuals living with Long COVID (PWLE)

  • Caregivers or family members of people affected by Long COVID

 

We also encourage applications from:

  • Individuals with lived experience who come from diverse communities and underrepresented groups (e.g., members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, people living with low socioeconomic status, etc.)

  • Individuals interested in contributing to patient-centred research and improving health systems and patient experiences

*At this time, we are looking for PWLE (people with lived experience) who are not currently engaged in leadership roles in other patient-focused groups.

​

What’s Involved?

  • Attend regular biweekly meetings and contribute to Long COVID research and initiatives

  • Offer insight into patient and caregiver perspectives in Long COVID research

  • Help foster inclusive, respectful, and accessible engagement strategies

How to Apply

Please submit a Letter of Intent outlining the following:

  • Why you are interested in joining the PAC

  • What you hope to contribute

  • Any relevant lived experience or background

 

Submit your letter by June 5th, 2026, via our online submission form.

Selection Process

  • Applications will be reviewed, and selected individuals may be invited for an interview.

  • Recommendations are welcome — if you know someone who would be a great fit, please encourage them to apply by submitting a Letter of Intent.​

​

Key Dates:

  • Call Opens: May 6th, 2026

  • Deadline for Letter of Intent: June 5th, 2026, 11:59 PM PT.

  • Interviews: June-July 2026

  • New Member Start Date: August 2026 (tentative)
